What is RollingSeeds?
RollingSeeds is a kids' streaming platform that turns passive screen time into active, hands-on play. Our app features a library of beautifully animated storybooks — and every episode comes with interactive quiz questions. Kids use physical Seeds tokens or a virtual keyboard to roll, tap, and answer quizzes, building real comprehension and fine motor skills. It's the first streaming service that bridges the digital and physical worlds.
How is RollingSeeds different from other kids' streaming platforms?
Standard streaming platforms — YouTube Kids, Netflix Kids, and others — offer purely passive entertainment. Kids sit and watch with no interaction. RollingSeeds is the only streaming service paired with smart, tactile Seeds tokens that bridge screen and real world. Every episode ends with a hands-on quiz, so kids stay engaged and learning instead of zoning out. And unlike YouTube Kids, our entire library is hand-curated, fully ad-free, and contains zero user-generated content.
Is RollingSeeds similar to Vooks or Epic?
We share a love of kids' stories with Vooks and Epic!, but RollingSeeds goes further. Vooks streams animated storybooks and Epic! offers digital books to read on screen. Both are still passive experiences. RollingSeeds adds a unique gameplay layer: after every story, kids use physical Seeds tokens or a vistual keyboard to answer interactive quiz questions, turning watching into doing.
What age is RollingSeeds designed for?
RollingSeeds is designed for children aged 3-8, covering preschool stories through stories for kindergarten and early elementary. The animated storybooks and quiz difficulty adapt so younger kids enjoy simple read aloud stories while older children tackle more challenging interactive quizzes.
What does a RollingSeeds Family Bundle include?
Every RollingSeeds Family Bundle comes with Seeds (smart, tactile tokens), the Play-Pot console, and free access to our streaming app. The app includes a growing library of animated storybooks with built-in interactive quizzes, plus the ABC and 123 mini games. How It Works: Watch & Play
What does 'Watch & Play' mean?
Watch & Play is the RollingSeeds experience. Kids watch beautifully animated storybooks in the app, and every episode comes with interactive quiz questions. They use their physical Seeds tokens or a virtual keyboard to roll, tap, and answer — turning every video into a hands-on challenge. It's active play, not passive watching.
How do the interactive quizzes work?
After watching an animated storybook episode, quiz questions appear on screen. Kids use their Seeds (physical, tactile tokens) or a virtual keyboard to select answers by tapping the screen or rolling Seeds on the Play-Pot console. The quizzes reinforce vocabulary, comprehension, and memory from the story they just watched.
Does my child have to do the quiz, or can they just watch?
Play or Watch. Kids choose how to engage. The quiz is always there as an invitation to interact, not a requirement. Kids can enjoy the animated storybooks at their own pace, or jump in and play along with the quizzes. Most kids can't resist playing along once they see how fun it is.
What are Seeds and how does the Play-Pot work?
Seeds are smart, tactile tokens that children hold, roll to interact with the app — they're the physical piece that makes RollingSeeds unique. The Play-Pot is the console where kids roll their Seeds in. It connects to the app via Bluetooth, detects which Seed was inserted, and sends the answer to the on-screen quiz or game. Together they bridge the digital and physical worlds.
What skills does RollingSeeds build?
Our animated storybooks build vocabulary, reading comprehension, and listening skills through professional read aloud narration. The interactive quizzes reinforce memory and critical thinking. The physical Seeds gameplay develops fine motor skills — and the ABC and 123 mini games extend phonics and number learning even further. Learning that shows up in school, not just on screen.

How many animated storybooks are available to stream?
Our library is constantly growing. At launch you'll find a curated collection of free storybooks covering popular themes like adventure, animals, friendship, and family. New digital storybooks are added regularly, including classic childrens folktales and original stories, all with built-in interactive quizzes.
Are the storybooks free to stream?
Yes! RollingSeeds includes a library of free storybooks you can stream anytime. As the library grows, some premium animated stories may be available through a small subscription, but the core library will always remain free.
What types of stories are in the library?
Our library covers a wide range: preschool stories, stories for kindergarten, childrens folktales from around the world, original adventures, and stories about nature, science, and social skills. Every story comes with interactive quiz questions so kids learn while they watch and play.
How are the animated storybooks different from just reading books on screen?
Instead of static pages, our storybooks are beautifully animated videos with professional read aloud narration — illustrations move, characters come alive, and the story feels like a show. But unlike any other streaming platform, every episode comes with interactive quizzes using physical Seeds tokens or a virtual keyboard. Kids don't just watch book stories, they play along.
Are new storybooks added regularly? Can we suggest stories?
Yes! We continuously expand the library with new digital storybooks, including seasonal stories, popular childrens folktales, and original content. You'll get notified in the app whenever new interactive story books are available. We also love hearing from families — submit story suggestions through the app or email hello@rollingseeds.com. Many of our best additions came directly from parent and teacher feedback.
Is there a parental guide to the storybook content?
Every story includes an age recommendation so parents know exactly what their child will be watching. All storybooks are reviewed to ensure they're age-appropriate and promote positive values.
Can I download storybooks for offline viewing?
Currently, storybook streaming requires an internet connection. We're exploring offline download options for a future update so families can enjoy free read aloud stories even without Wi-Fi.

Every episode comes with hands-on quizzes, so parents can see their child thinking, responding, and learning, not just watching. It's screen time you can feel good about.
Is RollingSeeds safe and ad-free?
Yes on both counts. RollingSeeds is a fully curated, 100% ad-free environment — your child will never see an advertisement while watching storybooks or playing quizzes. Unlike YouTube Kids, which relies on algorithmic filtering of user-generated content, every story in our library is hand-selected and reviewed. No external links, no comments, no risk of stumbling onto something inappropriate.
What data does RollingSeeds collect about my child?
We collect only what's needed to personalize the experience — profile name, age range, and learning progress. We never sell data, never show targeted ads, and comply with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) requirements.
Can I control what content my child accesses?
Yes. Parental controls let you set age-appropriate content filters, manage screen time limits, and review which storybooks and quizzes your child has been enjoying.
How does account linking and privacy work?
You can link your account with Google or Apple to save all progress. To unlink: go to Account in settings and press Log Out. To delete your account and reset all progress: press Withdraw Membership (Delete Account). All data handling follows strict children's privacy standards.
App & Compatibility
What devices is the RollingSeeds app compatible with?
The RollingSeeds app works on most modern tablets. For the best streaming experience: Apple iPad 8th Gen (2020) or newer, iPad Mini 5th Gen or newer, iPad Pro 3rd Gen or newer. Android: 3GB RAM or more recommended. Most tablets in the US$100+ range will run smoothly.
Where can I download the RollingSeeds app?
The RollingSeeds app is available for free on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Search for "RollingSeeds" to find and install it.
Do I need an internet connection?
Yes. The RollingSeeds app requires an internet connection for streaming animated storybooks, running interactive quizzes, and syncing progress.
Can I use the app without the Seeds and Play-Pot?
Yes! You can stream the animated storybook library and enjoy free read aloud stories directly in the app without any hardware. The Seeds and Play-Pot add the hands-on interactive quiz experience and the ABC & 123 games, but the app works independently with a virtual keyboard.
Can multiple children use one account?
Yes. Create multiple player profiles within the app so each child gets their own personalized experience with their own viewing history, quiz progress, and story recommendations.
Will there be charges for new content in the future?
The core app and our library of free storybooks will always remain free. As we expand, some premium animated stories or advanced features may require a small subscription, but we'll always maintain a generous free tier.
ABC & 123 Games
What are the ABC and 123 games?
ABC and 123 are RollingSeeds' hands-on learning mini games — ABC covers language and phonics, 123 covers numbers and basic math. Kids use their physical Seeds tokens and the Play-Pot console to play through challenges, making them a natural extension of what they've been watching in the storybook library.
How do the ABC and 123 games work?
Kids insert a Seed into the Play-Pot or tap the virtual keyboard to interact with on-screen challenges in the app. ABC games reinforce letter recognition, phonics, and vocabulary. 123 games build number sense and early math skills. They're hands-on and fast-paced — designed to complement the storybook experience with active gameplay.
Are the ABC and 123 games connected to the storybooks?
They're a separate feature within the app. After watching an animated storybook and completing the built-in quiz, kids can jump into ABC or 123 games to keep practicing related skills. Phonics from the stories translates directly into ABC gameplay, for example.
Are the ABC and 123 games free?
Yes. The ABC and 123 games are included with the RollingSeeds app and come with 20+ built-in game modes that are free and will remain free. New game variations may be added over time as part of our growing content library.
Do I need the Play-Pot and Seeds to play the ABC and 123 games?
No. While the ABC and 123 games are designed around the physical Seeds tokens and Play-Pot console for the best hands-on experience, kids can also use the virtual keyboard on the app to play. This means you can explore and enjoy the ABC and 123 games without the hardware, though the tactile token interaction is what makes the gameplay truly unique and engaging for most kids.
Play-Pot & Seeds Setup
How do I set up the Play-Pot for the first time?
1. Fully charge the Play-Pot (3-4 hours).
2. Press and hold the center button for 2 seconds to power on.
3. Open the RollingSeeds app and follow the Bluetooth pairing instructions.
4. Once the light turns solid green, you're connected and ready to Watch & Play.
What is the Play-Pot's battery life?
A full charge provides approximately 8 hours of playtime with speakers on. Charging takes 3-4 hours depending on your adapter.
What do the lights on the Play-Pot mean?
Flashing Blue: Powered on, not yet paired.
Solid Blue: Speakers paired with tablet.
Solid Green: Fully connected to the RollingSeeds app and ready to play.
Green Flash: Seed successfully detected.
Flashing Green (charging): Battery charging.
Solid Green (charging): Fully charged.
What happens if the Play-Pot isn't used for a while?
After 20 minutes of inactivity, the Play-Pot enters sleep mode. Press and hold the center button for 2 seconds to wake it up.
Can I buy replacement Seeds separately?
Yes, both Alphabet and Number Seeds will be available for separate purchase in the near future.

How do I get started with RollingSeeds?
1. Download the free RollingSeeds app from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Create a parent account and set up a child profile.
3. Start streaming animated storybooks immediately — no hardware needed to begin.
4. If you have the Play-Pot and Seeds, charge and pair them to unlock the full Watch & Play quiz experience and ABC & 123 games. You can also try the full storybook library and games before purchasing the hardware to see if your child loves it first.
How do I control sound settings?
In the app settings you'll find three volume controls:
BGM (background music),
EFFECT (game sound effects),
VOICE (narration and read aloud voice volume for storybooks and quizzes).
What is your Return & Refund policy?
Our return and refund policies follow the consumer protection laws in the region where your product was purchased. To start a return, contact customer service from the retailer within the valid return period with your order information ready.
What is your warranty policy?
