What is Rolling Seeds and how does it work?
Rolling Seeds is an interactive edtech tactile learning system that combines physical 'Seeds' (tokens) and a console ‘Play-Pot’ with a free app to help kids learn while having fun. To play, a child inserts a Seed in the Play-Pot, which then interacts with the game app on the tablet.
For what age is Rolling Seeds suitable?
Rolling Seeds is designed for children aged 3-8, but this can vary based on a child's individual development.
What skills does Rolling Seeds teach?
Our current games focus on phonics, numbers, and memory. We are always developing new games to cover more skills.
Is the Rolling Seeds app safe for my child?
Yes. The Rolling Seeds app is a completely safe, self-contained environment. It is 100% ad-free, and does not contain any external links or in-app purchases.
Can multiple children use the app?
Yes. You can create multiple player profiles within the app so that each child can have their own learning journey and save their progress.
If I lose some of my Seeds, can I purchase them separately?
Yes, both Alphabet and Number Seeds will be sold separately in the near future.
Technical & App
What devices is the Rolling Seeds app compatible with?
The Rolling Seeds app works on most modern tablets.
- Apple: iPads running iOS 14 or later.
- Android: Android tablets running Android 9 or later.
- Amazon: Fire HD 10 (2021) or newer.
Do I need an internet connection to play?
Yes. The Rolling Seeds app requires an internet connection. Please ensure your tablet or phone is connected to the internet before opening the app.
Will there be a charge for new games added in the future?
Rolling Seeds currently has 20+ built-in free games that will remain free. The library will constantly be updated with new games. Some of these new games will be free, while others may require a small fee or subscription.
Getting Started
What is the charging time and usage time for the console?
When you first receive the set, please fully charge the Play-Pot (about 3-4 hours) before playing. A 4-hour charge will provide approximately 8 hours of playtime with the speakers on. The charging time may vary slightly based on your adapter's charging speed.
How do I know if the console is charging or fully charged?
- Charging: The round button in the center will show a flashing green light.
- Fully Charged (>90%): The round button will show a solid green light.. After charging for 4 hours, it is ready to play.
How do I turn the console on and off?
To turn the power On or Off, press and hold the center round button for 2 seconds.
Features & Settings
What do the lights on the console button mean?
- Flashing Blue Light: The console is on but is not yet paired with any tablet via Bluetooth.
- Solid Blue Light: The speakers are successfully paired and connected with a tablet.
- Solid Green Light: Both the speakers and the Rolling Seeds app are successfully paired and connected with a tablet.
- Flashes Green Once: The Play-Pot has successfully sensed a Seed that was dropped in.
- Flashing Green Light: The console is charging.
- Solid Green Light: The console is fully charged.
How do I control the sound in the settings?
- BGM: The volume of the app's background music.
- EFFECT: The volume of the app's game sound effects.
- VOICE: The volume of the app's game voice pronunciation.
How does account linking work?
You can link your game account with your Google or Apple account to save all your game progress.
- To unlink, go to the "Account" section in settings and press the "Log Out" button.
- To reset the game, go to the "Account" section and press the "Withdraw Membership" (Delete Account) button.
What happens if I don't play for a while? (Sleep Mode)
If the Play-Pot is not used for more than 20 minutes, it will automatically enter sleep mode. To wake it up, press and hold the center "round button" for two seconds until you see the light flash.

Rolling Seeds provides a warranty for our products, in accordance with your local consumer laws.
